8 ways to Build your Team

This is an active process. One that is much more hands-on and time consuming than one would think. Most people keep living their lives, the same day after day; afraid to open the subconscious Pandora’s Box out of fear of, you guessed it, the unknown. And there is nothing wrong with that. People want someone to solve the problems for them. That is not what we are there to do. Listening, guiding, recommending, etc. But to put your health and healing in someone else’s hands is self-deprecating and defeating.

I think we all know by now we can barely change outselves, lot less someone else. So let people do what makes them happy. But if you’re not happy, then how can we help get you from where you are to where you want to go. It took me a long time to fit a few pieces together. So I hope they can help you save some time, money, + stress down the road.

1: You’re never going to feel like starting, Ever! Once you really let that sink in, you start to move mountains. Motivation comes AFTER action, not before. We have it ass backwards.

2: Get Sober or at least heavily cut back. Again, you’re never going to feel like doing it, but a clear mind and balanced mental state are gold.

3: Following up from 2, eat and exercise: Anything works, roll aeound on the flooe rhen eat granola. Gold adult Star, that counts!! Progress not perfection. People like us tend to work in black + white which isn’t true or helpful. Your activity level + nutritional needs also works on a spectrum. In the beginning I felt I had to afhere to a strict schedule. What worked was writing down what i had done at the END of the day and then adjusting for the next. If I tell myself you are going to eat chicken at noon, I will eat a snickers. If i know I’ll have to write dfown latert what I ate, I ear chieck. get to know what your internal voicers respond to.

4: No money, cool. Youtube + library + Parks +

5: Labs: Guessing your biochemistry needs and spending a lot for expensive pee isn’t going to get you where you need to go. But it will waste a lot of time. This really speed up my healing process when I cut out a lot of guess work. Find a naturopath or primary you trust to do a full blood panel. You can hone in on your nutitional definicience. Example: I struggle with anxiety, and the biggest help came years after my battle started. My labs showed incredible low levels of zinc and iron. Both are necessary for neurotransmitters that help anxiety. Was I taking zinc or iron, no, but I was taking a hist ton of other stuff. So I saved money, time, and lo and behold, my anxiety became mangeable. We aren’t looking to completely annex anxiety. But we are looking to quiet him down enough so we can hear outselves thingk.

6: Holistic Team: Keep a journal. Who is your favorite youtube yoga instructor. Part of the team. Naturopath who drew your labs? team member, favorite park team member, painting, therapist or mentor, team, books, team

7: Sangha

8: “Don’t run to win, run to run.” -unknown. This is one of the quotes I try to live by. If you don’t like to run, don’t run. Ok, we’re not really talking about running. I use this thought for habits. The outcome doesn’t matter, the win, the relationship, the promotion, etc. The only thing that matters is what you do today. Find a way to love your habits, the journey, the exploration. The goals will automatically happen, the money and happiness will natural unfold. Use your goal as a sign post on where to steer, but if you’re not finding ways to enjoy getting there, your not going to be happy when you accomplish your goal either.
